How to save time grading written assignments in Google Docs

Explore two Google Docs apps that can save time grading and giving feedback to Google Docs written assignments. Both Goobric and OrangeSlice provide features such as grading with a rubric, peer-to-peer grading, and formative and summative versions. You can even record an audio message with Goobric! Bring a Chromebook or laptop to follow along!

Teach CTF in Environmental Stewardship with Ready-to-Go Curriculum

Leave this session with access to a PBL course to teach the Environmental Stewardship stream of CTF. CAWST's CTF course enables students to understand water issues in both developing countries and Alberta. See examples of projects students have implemented to address water issues. Developing Classroom Experiments: how to create meaningful class activities that allow students to touch and feel what you are trying to teach them

Determine the impact of using classroom experiments (students collect data, make observations, or make decisions as part of a guided inquiry) on areas such as student engagement, information recall, and grade performance.
