Totally Tubular
This session will teach you the benefits of using resistance tubing and take you through a number of strength training exercises. This portable exercise equipment is inexpensive and easily stored, making it perfect for home use or when you’re tight on space in the gym. It is effective at toning your muscles and allowing you to gradually increase the stress on your muscles as you regain strength. Wear comfortable clothing to move in!

Teach the Teacher Curling

Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.

This interactive on-ice session will introduce the game of and techniques of how to instruct students on the fundamentals of the sport. Equipment will be provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment to Michener Hill Curling Club. The session will be lead by Joel Peterman.  He is currently a teacher at Ecole Camielle J. Lerouge and has won a Canada Games Gold medal. In sight will also be given by Joel Carlos, who has coached is both school and competitive levels. He is currently the Head Coach of the Notre Dame Curling Program. Please note that this session has a limited capacity (32 max) due to facility constraints.
