Taking the Can't Out of Cantor
Calling all choir directors, music specialists & ‘WHAT? I have to teach my own music?’ classroom teachers! This ‘I CAN DO IT’ session guides teachers through rehearsal techniques for all levels of choirs. New & exciting voice, brain & body warm-ups, singing tips & repertoire ideas will be introduced. Spiritual First Nations choral music will be explored and celebrated. Session handouts provided.

Representing Research Using GARAGEBAND
This is a session that will allow teachers to experience how students can represent their research and voice through GARAGEBAND. Different projects will be shared during this presentation that allow students to express their voices, opinions and has given them a chance to personalize their learning. There will be a tutorial on GARAGEBAND so that all teachers can do these projects.

Return of the Mighty Ukulele!
Add to your Music teaching repertoire by incorporating a ukulele unit. Learn secrets to quick success in picking up the ukulele, and how to pass on that success to your students. A limited amount of ukuleles will be available for hands on learning, or you can bring your own. Special guest co-presenter - Denise Gagne of Themes and Variations will highlight her recently released Ukulele Method.
