Laura Burdett is a lifelong Alberta prairie girl with a 35 year history of involvement in theatre, both onstage and behind the scenes. Since receiving her degree in Fine Arts from BYU-Idaho and her Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta, she has taught various forms of theatre, dance and music to performers of all ages. Laura teaches Drama and Language Arts at Rudolph Hennig Junior High, in the Elk Island Public School district. She is the Coordinator and Director of the ActingUp! and Improv Now summer theatre programs for the City of Fort Saskatchewan, and she is the cofounder of Element Theatre Company.
