Anxiety is plaguing our society, and in children anxiety has many faces. Children who seem to have behavioral concerns, seem shy, or seem op-positional may be dealing with anxiety. This presentation is intended to provide some education on what anxiety looks like in children, so that we can spot it, and then to provide tangible strategies that can be used in the classroom to support those students

My name is Tammy Auten-Dye. I am a Psychologist with a Private Practice in Ponoka Alberta and have experieince in a number of rural settings. Providing play therapy with Children starting at 4 years old, youth/teen therapy, adult, couples and family therapy. With an eclectic theoretical technique, my primary mode of therapy is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
